Detroit doesn’t wear its culture quietly.
BackBone brings the city’s sports culture, rivalries, landmarks, and attitude together in one unapologetic all-over design.
The back is the centerpiece: six original team-inspired emblems collide across the garment in a layered tribute to the teams and traditions that help define Detroit and Michigan sports culture. The artwork continues onto both sleeves, giving the Wolverine- and Spartan-inspired designs their own territory while allowing the remaining imagery to move naturally across the back.
The front tells a different part of the story. A compact DETROIT crossword connects the teams through the city itself, while GRITTY OR SHITTY sits over the kangaroo pocket as the attitude behind the entire piece.
Look closer and the details keep going—from the sculptural fist emerging near the hem to the artwork wrapping the hood and the JetLion mark anchoring the lower design.
This is not a quiet Detroit hoodie.

These unisex athletic hoodies come with a 95% recycled polyester and 5% spandex fabric blend that is as comfy in the gym as it is on a casual day out. Each hoodie comes with a flat black drawstring, a sewn-in size and care label, as well as a custom-printed label on the inside of the waistband.
